The Business Unit Engineering Plastics controls the Aquafil activities on the plastics market. The core business of this division concerns polyamide products for extrusion and injection molding

It realizes materials that are used in the most relevant and dynamic industrial sectors. Further they  are utilized in the production of objects surrounding people’s everyday life.

Our houses, offices and cars contain many applications made in plastic. Thanks to the Aquafil  engineering plastics, mobiles phones, home appliances, children toys and many free time objects could grant the highest quality performances .

Aquafil Engineering Plastics Business Unit can assure these optimal results through an efficient and well-advanced R&D division. It operates to develop and to accelerate the process and product innovation, granting high technologies and quality standard, and also improving the human life condition and the conservation of our environment.

    A wide range of polyamides 6 and 66 products used in the most important industrial sectors. Within Aquamid range there are both commodities and special materials, as well as natural and XB (patented technology) or full compound colored products.

    A complete line of sustainable polymers coming from post industrial and post consumers waste. Many of these products are customized thanks to the  strong relationship with our clients and partners, meeting their needs and necessities. In this field Aquafil Engineering Plastics  was  the first European producer to obtain the UL Environment certification.

    Further, within the Econyl project, it will be possible in the near future to produce recycled polymers with the same technical and quality performances as those coming from virgin fossil fuels. 

    This challenging issue will grant us to offer a real unique 100% recycled and recyclable product.
