  • Aquafil Spa

    Registered office and plant: Arco (Trento) ITALY
    Sector: polymerization, BCF spinning

    Opened in 1969, this plant is the oldest Aquafil production site.
    Today, alongside its industrial activities, the site is home to the Group headquarters and is still the strategic center for its worldwide operations.
    Built in the extremely delicate natural environment of Alto Garda, this plant has been a benchmark for the Group's environmental policies, and has regularly implemented programs to reduce the environmental impact of its operations.

  • Aquafil Engineering Plastics

    Registered office and plant: Arco (Trento) ITALY
    Sector: Polyamide compounds and masterbatch, Engineering Plastics

    Founded in 2000, the second operations center in Arco deals with the production of materials made from high-tech polyamide polymers for use in the plastics industry. The factory is a constant source of innovation, thanks to the contribution of the expertise from the BCF division.

  • Tessilquattro Spa

    Registered office and plant: Arco (Trento) ITALY
    Sector: BCF interlacing/twisting

    Established in 1993, this company runs one of the four Trentino sites owned by the Aquafil Group, and processes the BCF filaments with interlacing and twisting techniques.

  • Aquaspace Spa

    Registered office and plant: Arco (Trento) ITALY
    Sector: BCF interlacing, space and Superba dyeing

    Opened in Rovereto in the province of Trento in 1986, this plant represents a major step forward for the diversification of the Group's activities, and marked its entry into the textile industry. It handles the production of space dyed yarns.

  • Borgolon Spa

    Registered office and plant: Varallo Pombia (Novara) ITALY
    Sector: NTF spinning/texturing

    This company and its production site at Varallo Pombia (the Group's fifth-largest Italian plant) is already the leading European manufacturer of solution dyed polyamide textile filaments. The company was acquired in 2007 as part of the strategic development program for the textile sector.

  • Aquafil Engineering GmbH

    Registered office and plant: Berlin GERMANY
    Sector: engineering

    Established in the German capital in 1988, Aquafil Engineering GmbH is a strategic facility in terms of the Group's innovation and development policies, and is dedicated exclusively to the design, realization and marketing of advanced engineering solutions, infrastructure and know-how used in the polymerization of Nylon 6 and in the polycondensation of polyester.

  • Julon d.d.

    Registered office and plant: Ljubljana – SLOVENIA
    Sector: polymerization, compounds, spinning/twisting, heat setting of BCF, spinning of NTF

    Registered office and plant: Štore/Celje – SLOVENIA
    Sector: BCF twisting and heat setting

    Registered office and plant: Ajdovščina – SLOVENIA
    Sector: Waste storage and processing

    Acquired in 1995, this plant marked the first stage of the Group's internationalization program, and was the first part of the privatization process which began in this central European state after the fall of the Tito regime. The plant carried out the polymerization and production of BCF and NTF yarns. Over the years, it has expanded further thanks to the acquisition of the plant at Store, which carried out processing operations relating to the production of BCF yarns.

    Early in 2011, the first depolymerization system, part of the Econyl project, was inaugurated at the Julon factory in Ljubljana. A center of excellence for the Group's policies of sustainability and innovation, this plant can produce the raw material essential for the Group's operations from post-industrial and post consumer waste made from polyamide 6. The Ajdovščina plant has also been acquired in this connection, and provides a warehouse for all the waste collected worldwide.

  • Aquaset TTS d.d.

    Registered office and plant: Senožeče - SLOVENIA
    Sector: NTF warping

    One of the Group's four Slovenian sites. It specializes in the warping of textile products.

  • Bulgari Filati d.o.o.

    Registered office and plant: Oroslavje – CROATIA
    Sector: NTF texturing/coiling/interlacing/twisting

    Acquired in 2001, this Brescia-based company was subsequently relocated together with the Croatian production plant. Today, it is one of the key sites in the textile sector growth program, and handles the coiling and interlacing of synthetic fibers.

  • Aquafil USA Inc.

    Registered office and plant: Cartersville, Georgia (USA)
    Sector: BCF spinning/interlacing/twisting, Engineering Plastics compounds

    Established in 1999, this company marks the second stage of the Group's internationalization plan. It established a direct presence in the United States, bringing the company closer to the needs of its customers and providing a more structured response to the remarkable opportunities available in one of the world's largest markets.

  • Aquafil Asia Pacific CO Ltd.

    Registered office and plant: Rayong 21140 - THAILAND
    Sector: BCF interlacing/twisting and logistics

    Founded in Thailand in 2007, this plant is the basis for the development of Aquafil's presence in the Asia Pacific area. It carries out reprocessing for the BCF sector and deals with the Group's logistics and distribution operations in South East Asia and Australia.

  • Aquafil Synthetic Fibres and Polymers (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd.

    Registered office and plant: Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, PRC
    Sector: Spinning/interlacing/twisting and heat setting of BCF, polyamide compounds and Engineering Plastics masterbatch

    This plant became operational in 2010 and is the Group’s most recent plant. It is also one of the largest financial investments in the company's recent history. It is a strategic decision which allowed to be present in one of the most important and dynamic markets in the world, multiplying the opportunities for growth in the Far East, particularly with regard to the sector of textile flooring fibers.
